After practicing law for twenty years with two other lawyers who are still good friends, Ken Anthony started The Anthony Law Firm, P.A. in 1999. He practiced alone until the spring of 2014, when his oldest son, Jay, decided to return to the practice, having worked in Columbia and Greenville since passing the bar in 2008. Together, they handle virtually any type of legal matter in the Upstate of South Carolina, practicing in all trial courts.
The firm has offices in Spartanburg and Greenville and maintains an active practice, not only in Spartanburg and Greenville counties, but also in the surrounding counties of Union, Cherokee, Anderson, and Pickens. The firm’s main office is located at 250 Magnolia Street in downtown Spartanburg, South Carolina, just one block north of both the Federal and County courthouses. The Greenville office is located at 650 E. Washington Street, just a few blocks off of Main Street.
The firm has developed a particular ability for handling complex lawsuits and has obtained a number of the highest verdicts ever obtained in Spartanburg County and the Upstate of South Carolina. These cases have included injuries and deaths caused by defective products, suits between companies, contract disputes, serious automobile and truck accidents, injuries on the premises of others, injuries in the workplace, inadequate security, industrial accidents, highway defects, exposure to toxic substances, legal and medical negligence and commercial and insurance litigation.
